Digital Blacksmiths is proud to offer our first set of original Photoshop Brushes. We use customized Photoshop brushes every day and have created a large library of these brushes.

Some brush sets have been created for specific projects, others just for fun. This specific set was created by myself for a project I recently did for a client that had some animated artwork on a grungy piece of paper on a desk.

In the spirit of sharing, we will be giving away several Photoshop Brush sets as a regular part of our site updates.

This particular set is called Digital Blacksmiths – Markers 1 since it consists of marker style brushes. They needed to have a real “analog” feel to them. You can see the individual brushes included in this set in the following image:

In order to install this set into your Photoshop brush library, copy the file to your Photoshop folder, then “Presets/Brushes/” folder. Then start Photoshop. You can also load them into Photoshop from the brush menu.
